Nikki G. is a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach, educator, speaker, and Founder of the Black Religious Trauma Recovery Network. As a cult survivor, she brings both lived experience and specialized training in cult recovery to her work supporting individuals impacted by religious trauma, spiritual abuse, cultic and high-control environments, and narcissistic abuse.

Through psychoeducation, coaching, support groups, community building, and public conversations, Nikki creates spaces where survivors can better understand what happened to them, explore the impact these experiences have had on their lives, and develop tools for healing, autonomy, and life beyond high-control systems.

Nikki's educational work also examines cultic influence beyond traditional religious environments, including Christian Nationalism, political and ideological movements, conspiracy-based belief systems, and other high-control communities. Through this broader lens, she works to expand conversations about what cultic influence can look like, who can be affected by it, and how these dynamics can appear across religious, political, cultural, and spiritual environments.

Nikki is also the co-host of the Surviving the Black Church Podcast, where she explores religious trauma, spiritual abuse, harmful religious systems, cult dynamics, and the experiences of Black survivors.

Through the Black Religious Trauma Recovery Network, Nikki is working to expand culturally responsive education, resources, support, and community for Black survivors while helping bring Black religious trauma and Black cult experiences into the larger conversations surrounding religious trauma and cult recovery.

At the heart of Nikki's work is a simple belief: survivors deserve the opportunity to understand their experiences, reconnect with themselves, and build lives rooted in choice, authenticity, safety, and freedom.
